Sit Walk Stand

Last year about this time God started me on this incredible journey in the book of Ephesians. I had always enjoyed teaching many truths from this book of the Bible but I had never seen the incredible connection until I read Watchman Nee’s Sit Walk Stand. It is a short book which takes you from your position before the Father to your position before His enemy. Highly recommend you read it. It’s Christianity 101.

New Day! New Vision! New Challenge

During this season I get to speak to many young people about using their gifts and talents for the Kingdom of God. For too long the church has kept the young people from certain arenas of the world and has thus given those arenas to those who do not know God. Well, it is a new day! The young people have new vision to see how to express themselves and glorify God in all areas of life. The dancers want to dance with authority for His glory. The writers want to write to uphold good values for His glory. The scientist want to discover those hidden treasures of His creation that will point back to Him. The business people want to demonstrate how to run businesses fairly and use their resources for His glory. They are a new generation ready to represent the Lord in every area of life. They are ready to be culture shapers influencing art and entertainment, media, business, government, science, and literature. LET YOUR KINGDOM COME! LET YOUR WILL BE DONE!

Here is most of the Wednesday night gang. We are planning a 40 hour Prayer, Praise and the Word for the weekend of December 5-7th. I want to show them how to host the presence of God for 40 hours. We will have shifts for leading worship and sleeping. This gives them the perfect venue to invite friends. We are always looking for the hungry ones. Pray for our sensitivity to the Spirit of God and life changing encounters for the students.

Mocha Friends

It is a rarity to spot any brown faces here so when I do I always stop them to ask if they live here. This way I have been able to meet quite a few of the sisters and brothers from USA. We established the Mocha Friends Club and enjoy fellowship as our schedules permit. My two friends above Emily (holding David) and Penny are both going home to be with terminally ill mothers. Emily will not return but will move back to Saudi where her husband works. Penny has two more years on her Asian work contract.

Young and Hungry

Every Wednesday at 12:08 I get to meet with an incredible group of 7th and 8th graders. They are the chapel team helping me plan the weekly chapel services for their peers. When they pray what is on their hearts they touch Heaven and God’s presence lingers with me for the rest of the day. They are musicians, singers, actors, actresses and prayer warriors. It’s the hot spot of the week for me.

A Visit to Kid's Life

Above is a portion of the map of Thailand which is drawn on the floor of the main building at Kid’s Life Children’s Home. Every morning it is quite a sight to see the children file in and begin to walk the map. For years we have encouraged the children to be watchmen on the wall for their nation. Oh, did I tell you that this takes place at 5:30 in the morning? I love to pray and worship with these children. We drove up this morning for a 24 hour visit. I will get a chance at the end of the month to see them again.

Met tonight with the 12 hungry hearts. They are high school students from the local international school plus three home schoolers. It is an invitation only meeting where God is allowed to lead. They are learning about who they are in Christ and it is fresh every week. I am amazed. Tonight we got a chance to Skype a former student in Germany for YWAM DTS.

Hume Lake Camp

Hume Lake Camping Ministry from California comes to Thailand every two years to provide a camp for the many missionary students in Asia. This was the first year I attended as a counselor for the 4 day event. There were over 150 junior highers with energy that would not quit... mine did not last that long. Being at the camp gave me a chance to observe and plan as I lead the chapel services for this group back at the international school. Their theme tied into our theme of who we are in Christ.
