Kia

She still loves to read and plays piano. She and Tori are adding their third language as they study Spanish this school year.
Marlene...
is now working with all the students of Grace International School as the Student and Family Ministry Coordinator. This school of 500+ students represent 95 mission organizations and 27 nationalities. Their families are a part of the thousands of missionaries serving in Southeast Asia. My job is to find and coordinate opportunities for the students to serve in the Chiang Mai area. Many students are visiting the children homes to be big brothers and sisters to the orphans. Others walk the neighborhoods of Chiang Mai in prayer walks while still others reach out to the many foreigners in the Night Bazaar market. A large number of them lead small group Bible studies for the younger students. The students are finding ways to use their gifts and talents now as they prepare to infiltrate every area of society as SALT, LIGHT, AMBASSADORS FOR THE LORD JESUS CHRIST.
I am convinced that we as adults must take the hand of a younger person to mentor, take along with us. we must always be of the mindset that we must duplicate ourselves so that the work goes on long after we are gone.
She also continues to work with Thai churches who hunger for ‘The Kingdom’ message. Our family also hosts a house church for several families who love the messages of Bill Johnson of Bethel Church in Redding, California. We have internet access to all services so it’s dinner first, worship with the Bethel family, teaching and then a chance to process it with the other families. Every week is so rich and rewarding for us as we fill up before pouring out again in this nation.
Moses.........
is 11 years old and is studying in the 6th grade. He is still quite the soccer player and even plays on a year round team. In November his team will compete in Phuket against teams from the surrounding nations. Things are moving regarding his adoption and we hope to have him with when we visit next summer. He has a list of American things to do and experience.
